Terilee Dawn

It is hard to think of a way to describe myself so that you can get to know me better. I love having a blog because it is a place for me to show my most current work and at the same time post random things about my life. I have a deep passion for life and it is my goal to live it to the fullest. That may sound kind of cliche but it is so true. I love adventures, and people, and photography is an avenue for me to experience both in a fun artist way. Photography is an outpour of what I see and how I view life. It allows me to capture those sweet moments in life in a way that when I look back at the images I can remember how it felt to experience that moment. That is why I love my job, I get to capture pure moments for people that they will always get to take with them. I hope you will stay a while and look through my blog and get inspired.

Terilee’s Tuesday – “Oh Canada…”

Even though everyone knows that I am Canadian I decided to talk about it in light of the Olympics and my winter wonderland weekend. All I can say is “I love you Canada!!! ” People kept asking me who I would be cheering for for the Gold in mens hockey.  Even though I have lived here for almost 5 years I still feel very much Canadian. I actually wasn’t home to watch the game, I had been up at the mountains with our youth group so on the ride home we kept getting text updates on the game. Lets just say I enjoyed a little victory dance in a car full of Americans. Everyone was a good sport and let me enjoy the moment. Between the Olympics and the snow I got to see this weekend, I had some sweet memories of where I grew up. I personally love the snow. It is amazingly beautiful when there is a fresh fall of snow and I loooooooooooove snowboarding. We woke up on Saturday morning to a fresh layer of snow and I got so excited. We went sledding, had snowball fights, and I got to bundle up all nice and cozy in my winter clothes. It snowed all weekend big fluffy flakes of snow, and then I came home and wore flip flops to work today, haha that is what I love about California you can get it all within a few hours of driving. So this Tuesday I have fond memories of where I grew up and playing in the snow. Good times.
