Terilee Dawn

It is hard to think of a way to describe myself so that you can get to know me better. I love having a blog because it is a place for me to show my most current work and at the same time post random things about my life. I have a deep passion for life and it is my goal to live it to the fullest. That may sound kind of cliche but it is so true. I love adventures, and people, and photography is an avenue for me to experience both in a fun artist way. Photography is an outpour of what I see and how I view life. It allows me to capture those sweet moments in life in a way that when I look back at the images I can remember how it felt to experience that moment. That is why I love my job, I get to capture pure moments for people that they will always get to take with them. I hope you will stay a while and look through my blog and get inspired.

Terilee’s Tuesday – 1000 Awesome Things

I have been following this blog called “1000 Awesome Things” and decided that I would share some of them that I like from it.

“1000 Awesome Things is just a time-ticking countdown of 1000 awesome things. Launched June, 2008 and updated every weekday.”

1. Driving home from a long trip and getting all your radio stations back.

2. The sound of water lapping against a dock

3. When you are merging into traffic and there is no traffic to merge into

4. Ripping off a square of plastic wrap that doesn’t get stuck to itself

5. The point of the road where you are are really far from where you started and really far from where you are going

6. Horrible fake accents made by close friends

7. Those rare moments when you are the only person on the beach

8. When a work friend becomes an outside-of-work friend

9. Guilty pleasure songs ( the songs on your ipod you love but are embarrassed that someone will find them đŸ™‚

10.  Biting off the last piece of Popsicle without losing any of it

Sometimes it is just really the simple things in life that make me smile. Happy Tuesday!

Here is a picture of Ryan and I in Halong Bay, Vietnam, it makes me happy.

October 5, 2010 - 3:41 pm Amy LaVonne - Man, Ryan looks like Erik in that picture. Crazy!!! Also, I love this! I think that we all forget how to take Joy in the simple things in life! How good of a life do we live?!?

October 5, 2010 - 5:37 pm Vicki - Oh I didn't realize you loved fake accents so much. I'll have to bust those out around you more often. ;)

October 5, 2010 - 11:56 pm Christine - Love it!! I would add to that making it home from a long outing without both kids crying or falling asleep in the stroller- golden! Love the picture of the two of you looking very Asian with your peace signs (:
