A while back we did some family photos for some good friends of ours. Ryan and I needed a photo for our Christmas card so I made us dress up a little bit and had Michelle take some photos of us. It ended up being a mini photo session for Ryan and I and I love some of the photos. It was at an old ghost town that was amazing and had an old photo gallery store that I feel in love with. I hope that maybe someday I will get to go back and really capture this place. Enjoy!

Terilee’s Tuesday – Bloglines
Wow I have managed to do this for two weeks now. Woot woot. haha just kidding that isn’t the biggest accomplishment yet. Maybe once I have done this for three months straight we will have a little party of celebration. Oh that will be fun! I like to treat myself to things when I feel like I have accomplished something that was on my list of goals, little rewards are nice for all the hard work
So since my Terilee’s Tuesday is fairly new and it would take people reading my blog regularly to keep up with my random life happenings I thought I would talk about something I love that allows me to follow all my favorite blogs without spending hours going to all of them. Let me introduce you to BLOGLINES. I can view all the blogs I want to in about 15 minutes. Instead of having to visit all the different sites you just sign into your bloglines and it lets you know who has updated their blog. You read them all right there and can easily navigate through all the blogs you read. This is wonderful for me since I have a lot of family I don’t live by and have some favorite blogs I love to check up on regularly. I am kind of obsessed with reading other peoples blogs but this cuts down my internet browsing a lot which allows me to do other more productive things in my life
Especially for my business this is a great thing. I have a lot of sites that give sound business advice that I want to follow but don’t want to waste to much time on all these blogs. Bloglines allows me to quickly see if those sites have a new post and if they don’t I can just move on with my day.
On a more random note this is my last week of being 27. eck. To some turning 28 sounds very young, to me it sounds a bit scary. I know I am still young but I am closer to 30 then I am to my young 20’s that seem like just yesterday. 28 sounds so grown up especially when I feel like yesterday I was 18 and just starting the adventures of my life. Sigh. Anyways I am not going to dwell on to that till next week because today I am still just 27.
And because all photo blogs need a photo here is a picture of me with some rock formations that were down by the beach where I live.
Ella Leigh
Ok so Ella is now over 3 months old but I still wanted to post these pictures. I have discovered that I love going to the hospital when my friends have babies and take pictures. The moments are so true and real. The first few days of a new family are so precious and to be able to capture it just warms my heart. They are the moments when I have the camera to my face with tears of joy in my eyes. I can’t help but get all teary eyed, it is such a miracle, God is amazing. So even though she is beyond this new born stage I couldn’t help but blog them. Enjoy!

David holding her for the first time after she got all cleaned up.

David feeding Ella her first bottle while mom was in recovery.

Love this next one!

Precious moments between mom and daughter. Now you can see how easy it is to get all teary eyed.

Tea
Tonight I had great fellowship and tea with some amazing friends who are so encouraging. God is always faithful to give you what you need.
Since it is taking me forever to get through my travel pictures I will post one of my favorites from Hong Kong. Someday I promise there will be a great big post with all of them.

Jessica’s Maternity
I took these pictures months ago and finally am getting around to blogging them. Jessica never got around to getting maternity pictures and it was just by chance that this evening I had my camera along while we went out to Huasna for a BBQ. Just as the light was starting to turn I insisted that we do a few photos so that she would have them. Unfortunately her husband David wasn’t there but I am glad that we still got a few of Jessica. Enjoy!
Isn’t she just beautiful!

Pictures of Baby Ella Leigh are next to come.
Terilee’s Tuesday
I am a very inconsitant blogger and would like to change that. Now I can’t promise anything but I am going to try. I have decided to start with a weekly post every Tuesday. I figure it is a good place to start, I would hope I could blog at least once a week:) Here’s to hoping that I will do it. It is going to be whatever I want it to be, it will have some of my personal life, my photo life, and random things that I just like in life. Here we go internet world.
Last night as I was editing some photos I came across a Documentary TV show on MTV called “The Buried Life”, all I can say is I wish I would of thought of this idea first. It is about these four friends who were tired of not really doing anything with their life so they decided to make a list of 100 things they want to do before they die, and actually do them. Now here is the part about this that I really like, for everything on their list they check off they will try and help a strange do something on their list. Ummmm how cool is that? Best way to do a bucket list ever!
I LOVE bucket lists. When I was 15 my best friend Vicki and I decided to make one of these. She actually still has hers, I unfortunatly lost mine. One thing I do know is that I have completed a lot of those things that my 15 year old self wanted to do in life. It is pretty cool looking back and knowing that I have fulfilled some of my dreams. Some of them I have had to reevalutate like ” owning a monkey”
Now that I am a mature adult and realize that the chances of me owning a monkey are not very likely, and I am not sure I would really want to own one anymore, I will scratch that from the list. But hey I thought it was a cool idea when I was 15.
I have a new bucket list that I started a while ago and will eventually share it once it is complete ( I plan to relook at it and really take seriously what is on it) This of course will drive my husband crazy because he thinks most of my dreams are crazy, yet he still encourages me to follow them. I love you Ryan. I have decided there are no rules for my bucket list it is only there to encourage me to follow most of my dreams. Some of those dreams over time might change with life and I won’t want to fulfill them any more but some of them I have had forever and know I will try to fulfill them. My list I hope will also reflect my life in a way I want it to be reflected, to do things that I find very meaningful. But to also do things because, well heck, I just think it would be cool to do.
Back to the TV show ” the buried life” and on their giving back. How do you give back to people? My family does something that I have never acutally done but I think is kind of neat. Every once and a while when they go through the drive thru of Tim Horton’s, a coffee shop in Canada, they will pay for the persons bill behind them. This is something small that they do but I know that if someone did that to me it would totally make my day. Wouldn’t that just put a smile on your face at 6 in the morning, not much would put a smile on my face at 6am but I know that would. I love giving but find that I don’t do it as much as I should, I think these guys are onto something pretty cool. It is like the movie ” Pay it forward”.
Well those are my thoughts for Tuesday. Here is a picture of someone who I have been doing a project with and have learned a lot from. She knows how to give in all ways.
Life & Death
My brother is down visiting right now and I insisted on taking some pictures of him. LOVE these pictures!

Asia Sneak Peek
Ok so I know people are dying to see picture from our trip. It is going to take a while for me to get through all of them since I insist on taking hundreds of pictures. But I decided that I would let you see a few photos to get an idea of what our trip was like. All I can say is that it was amazing. I love traveling. It was such a good cultural experience and very different then any traveling I have done in the past.
We will start with a picture from the markets in Hong Kong

Ryan and I at the temple of Literature in Hanoi, Vietnam

The next three are on the street of Hanoi. It is a crazy place. I loved it, besides the horrible air.

Halong Bay where we took an overnight boat ride.

There is so much more to show but this is a taste of what it was like.
Ava Leigh: 1 Year
I have been photographing this little girl since before she was born. We started with Maternity and I can’t believe that she is already one. She was one in September and now she is saying full clear words. Sometimes I miss the little baby that would let us sit down and watch a movie and she would be content to just sit there. But it is so fun to watch her grow and see her fun goofy little personality come out. Ryan my husband every so often says that he is going over to visit Ava, not his best friend Aaron but Ava, that tells you how special this little girl is. Anyways lets get to the pictures. I absolutely love this session and we had the best location ever to shot at. We had the opportunity to shoot at the Tar Springs Ranch Ghost Town. It is private property that most photographers were die to shoot at but it can’t so I feel pretty lucky that we got to go there. I was like a little kid the whole time totally giddy. Enjoy!
We will start with the location. Isn’t it amazing. This is just a sneak peek. I will do a whole post on it later.

Ava of course had to try out the flower to see how it would taste.

I love this next one, Precious!

She was so serious the whole time it was hard to get a smile. But at the same time that is just how she is sometimes, and then the next minute she is totally goofy. Don’t you just love the red coat?
